Pan Borneo Highway

Pan Borneo Highway, also known as Trans Borneo Highway is a highway system connecting two Malaysian states in Borneo island, namely Sarawak and Sabah. Its ends are Sematan, Sarawak and Serudong, Sabah.

March 31st 2015: Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak has announced that there will be no toll charge for Pan Borneo Highway [source]

January 2nd 2012: Sarawak Deputy Works Minister, Datuk Yong Khoon Seng announced that a comprehensive study will be carried out by the Public Works Department to upgrade Kuching – Limbang stretch of the highway totaling about 800 km.

E20 Maju Expressway (MEX)

Maju Expressway is one of the highways in Malaysia. It provides express link between Kuala Lumpur and KLIA.

The highway is currently undergoing extension from Putrajaya to KLIA. The new extension will be known as MEX II.

Services

The highway has one rest area, namely R&R Seri Kembangan. It is located between Seri Kembangan and Putrajaya exit. The amenities include food court, toilet and surau.

There is no petrol station at the rest area on both directions. However, the vast empty area around the rest area suggests the possibility of having it some time in the future.

E14 Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway (EDL)

The Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway (EDL) is an 8.1km long highway connecting E2 North-South Expressway (NSE) and Sultan Iskandar CIQ Complex in Johor Bahru.

EDL has ceased collecting toll since 1 January 2018. The highway was also reported as loss-making throughout its operation period.
