KLIA Ekspres Train

KLIA Ekspres is a non-stop rail service that plies between KL Sentral and KL International Airport. It uses a 57-kilometre standard gauge rail link that connects KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang, Selangor. It became operational on April 14th 2002. KLIA Ekspres is best known for its speedy 28-minute journey non-stop between KL Sentral to KLIA.

On-time performance is fairly impressive with 99.7% of its service departs/arrives on time, as claimed by ERL’s Twitter description.

The new klia2 stop is operational since 2014. Passengers will need to pay RM2 (cash or Touch ‘N Go card) for the 3-minute ride between the terminals.

Rolling stock
