Ampang Line is a light rail transit system managed by RapidKL. It shares several of its stations with Sri Petaling Line.
The line starts in Sentul Timur LRT station and terminates at Ampang LRT station. Previously, the line was known as Ampang/Sri Petaling Line.
History
It is formerly known as STAR Line or STAR LRT. During its STAR days, it uses ADTranz EMU, making it the first rail line in Malaysia to use standard gauge rail.

Fare Information
As a part of RapidKL network, Ampang Line uses shared ticketing system with seamless connectivity with other RapidKL-operated rail lines such as Kelana Jaya Line, Sri Petaling Line and Monorail Line.
Rolling stock
When Ampang Line was first operational, it used ADTranz EMU. Now, the EMU is being replaced by a new type of EMU, RapidKL AMY trainset, manufactured by CSR Zhuzhou.
